determinantes.
The objective of this research work is to determine the relationship that exists between exposure to screens and the language development of children aged 1 to 2 years who attend early stimulation programs in the city of Huancavelica. A study was carried out with a quantitative and applied approach, based on a descriptive correlational design. The selection of the sample, made up of 50 parents or guardians of children aged 1 to 2 years who attended early stimulation programs, was carried out through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The information was collected through the application of a questionnaire developed by the author with the purpose of obtaining data on the type of electronic device, the time and content to which the children were exposed; Likewise, the Baby and Child and Toddler Questionnaire (CSBS – DP) was used to collect information on the children's language development. The presence of a relationship between exposure to screens and language development was found. It is concluded that the greater the exposure to screens, the greater the relationship with the development of communication based on gestures and the lesser the development of expressive language and symbolism; Likewise, the exposure time, the content and the support during the use of technological devices are determining factors.
