In Arequipa, the disconnection between workers without professional training and job opportunities offered by individuals and households represents a critical challenge, evidenced by an informality rate of 68%, only 14.7% formal employment, and 17% neither working nor seeking employment. This situation particularly affects workers who, despite possessing valuable skills, lack effective means to demonstrate them and access formal and dignified employment. The problem is exacerbated by dependence on personal recommendations to find work and the difficulty in validating competencies without formal evidence of courses, workshops, or training in their CV, negatively impacting the regional economy and social welfare of thousands of families. To address this issue, we developed AYNI, an innovative digital platform that connects workers without professional training with job opportunities offered by individuals and households through a matching system based on verifiable skills. The solution includes dynamic visual profiles, a bidirectional evaluation system, and a specialized micro-course platform. The design was based on comprehensive research that included in-depth interviews and surveys, revealing a user profile. The project validation demonstrated its comprehensive viability as 80% confirmed the need for the solution, while financial analysis projects a NPV of S/ 1,166,908.62, an IRR of 114%, with an initial investment of S/ 505,900. The social impact is also reflected in a social NPV of S/ 65,475,987.15, aligning with key sustainable development objectives. Projections indicate that AYNI will reach more than 29,000 workers and 15,000 individuals and households by the fifth year, generating S/ 4.9 million annually in the local economy, thus validating its potential to significantly transform the Arequipa labor market.
