This research aims to answer the following question What graphic-plastic activities do teachers develop to promote the expression of emotions of 5-year-old children in a private educational institution in Surco? For this purpose, an interview was conducted with teachers and observations were made of graphic-plastic classes developed in the 5-yearold classroom of a private educational institution in the district of Surco. The study is qualitative and descriptive. The results show that the graphic-plastic activities that teachers develop in the 5-year-old classroom, whether drawing, modelling, collage, among others, have the objective of allowing children to express themselves through them, regardless of the material used, the expression of emotions is present in each of these activities, however, these are favoured when they are developed in a space where the teacher can exercise the role of receiver of emotions when the child comments on his or her artistic creation.
