Language Development Disorder (LDD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects approximately 7% of children and accompanies them throughout their lives, having a long-term negative impact such as: social, academic and emotional problems. Since the early detection and intervention of this disorder improves children's chances of successfully overcoming these difficulties, it is vitally important that teachers who care for children at the beginning of regular basic education know and identify the warning signs in order to make a timely referral. The objective of this research was to determine the level of knowledge of the LDD of 142 early childhood teachers who belong to the Educational Management Unit of Callao. For this purpose, a 20-question multiple-choice questionnaire was designed and applied, which was applied virtually through a Google form. The results showed a medium level of knowledge of the teachers about the TDL and did not show significant differences between the academic training, training received, years of service and type of management of the educational institutions where the teachers work.
