Resumen
Este Business Consulting para la Empresa Koplast tiene como objetivo
identificar y analizar los problemas operativos y estratégicos de Koplast, una empresa
fabricante de productos plásticos (tubos y accesorios), y proponer soluciones efectivas
para mejorar su eficiencia y competitividad en el mercado. La metodología utilizada fue
haciendo uso principalmente de métodos cualitativos, incluyendo entrevistas con
empleados clave y el análisis de datos operativos. Además, se aplicaron herramientas de
análisis estratégico como el análisis FODA. Los principales resultados revelaron
ineficiencias en la cadena de suministro y en los procesos de producción, la falta de una
estrategia clara de diferenciación, falta de capacitación del personal y problemas
financieros relacionados con la gestión de cuentas por cobrar y la dependencia de pocos
clientes grandes. Las conclusiones indican que Koplast necesita abordar integralmente
estos problemas para mejorar su rendimiento y sostenibilidad a largo plazo. Las
recomendaciones incluyen la optimización de la cadena de suministro mediante
sistemas just-in-time y relaciones sólidas con proveedores, el desarrollo de una
estrategia de diferenciación a través de productos innovadores, la implementación de
programas de capacitación y retención de talento, y la mejora de la gestión financiera
mediante políticas de crédito más estrictas y diversificación de la base de clientes.
This Business Consulting for the Koplast Company aims to identify and analyze the operational and strategic problems of Koplast, a manufacturing company of plastic products (pipes and accessories), and propose effective solutions to improve its efficiency and competitiveness in the market. The methodology used was mainly using qualitative methods, including interviews with key employees and the análisis of operational data. In addition, strategic análisis tools such as SWOT análisis were applied. The main results revealed inefficiencies in the supply chain and production processes, the lack of a clear differentiation strategy, lack of staff training and financial problems related to accounts receivable management and dependence on a few large clients. The findings indicate that Koplast needs to comprehensively address these issues to improve its long-term performance and sustainability. Recommendations include optimizing the supply chain through just-in-time systems and strong supplier relationships, developing a differentiation strategy through innovative products, implementing training and talent retention programs, and improving of financial management through stricter credit policies and diversification of the customer base.
