Abstract
La presente investigación analiza el Programa de Formación de Paternidad Activa y
Consciente implementado en Aldeas Infantiles SOS Perú (AISOS Perú) para la
población del Centro Social de Cusco. La finalidad es conocer la metodología, estrategia e implementación de las sesiones del programa; así como las expectativas de los participantes en cuanto a la valoración, cambios de conducta y hábitos que han permitido que ejerzan y promuevan la igualdad de género y la paternidad activa con la
intención de prevenir el maltrato infantil en las niñas y niños; y a su vez, la violencia
basada en género.
Esta investigación tiene como objetivo describir y conocer las características de la implementación del Programa de Formación de Paternidad Activa y Consciente durante
el periodo 2020-2021. Así como su aporte a la mejora del cuidado familiar de las niñas
y niños, que es parte del propósito de Aldeas Infantiles SOS Perú (AISOS Perú). Para ello, se analizan las actividades puestas en marcha para fortalecer las capacidades de
los participantes varones e incentivar su involucramiento en las sesiones, buscando que adopten nuevas conductas y hábitos.
Como parte del desarrollo de la investigación, se ejecutó una revisión detallada de la
documentación del Programa. También, se realizaron entrevistas a los actores directos
e indirectos, así como encuestas a los participantes. Este estudio ha servido para conocer la importancia del desarrollo de competencias parentales que logren promover la paternidad activa y consciente, aportando desde la Gerencia Social políticas públicas que promuevan la paternidad responsable y, por tanto, el fortalecimiento de la familia.
This research analyzes the Active and Conscious Parenting Training Program implemented in SOS Children's Villages Peru (AISOS Perú) for the Social Center of Cusco population. The purpose is to know the methodology, strategy, and implementation of the program sessions; as well as the expectations of the participants regarding assessment, behavioral changes, and habits that have allowed them to exercise and promote gender equality and active parenthood to prevent child abuse in girls and boys; and in turn, gender-based violence. This research aims to describe and understand the characteristics of implementing the Active and Conscious Parenting Training Program during 2020-2021. As well as their contribution to improving family care for girls and boys, which is part of the purpose of SOS Children's Villages Peru (AISOS Peru). To this end, the activities implemented to strengthen the capabilities of male participants and encourage their involvement in the sessions are analyzed, seeking to get them to adopt new behaviors and habits. As part of the development of the investigation, a detailed review of the Program documentation was carried out. Also, interviews were carried out with direct and indirect actors, as well as surveys with participants. This study has served to understand the importance of developing parental skills that promote active and conscious parenting, providing Social Management with public policies that promote responsible parenting, and therefore, the strengthening of the family.
