This thesis begins by addressing the social challenges faced by older adults in contemporary Lima, who, despite living with their families, spend much of the day alone due to their relatives’ work and personal obligations. In order to mitigate this loneliness, an alternative is proposed that promotes social interaction and continuous support, thereby acknowledging the difficulties associated with limited companionship and a perceived lack of autonomy— factors that can negatively affect the mental health of this population group. The issue was identified through in-depth interviews that examined key behavioral patterns, as well as the profiles of both clients and users, taking into account their activities, preferences, and difficulties. Based on these findings, a support initiative for older adults is suggested, aimed at strengthening their independence, boosting their confidence, and fostering a sense of purpose in their daily lives. Simultaneously, it seeks to provide assistance to the families of these older adults, enabling them to continue pursuing their professional lives without the frustration caused by limited time. It is crucial that this service ensures adequate, empathetic, understanding, and safe care, particularly in a societal context marked by insecurity and the devaluation of old age. During the evaluation of the business model, various hypotheses regarding the service’s desirability, feasibility, viability, and ultimately sustainability were validated through a prototype presented to potential clients and users. The hypothesis concerning feasibility was confirmed by financial projections for the first five years of operation, which yielded a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/ 2,670,733 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 184.89% ensuring the economic success of the project for the partners and investors, considering an initial investment of S/200,000 financed by the contributions of the shareholders themselves , who will provide 40% of the investment , with the remaining amount covered through debt. thus. Additionally, it was concluded that the older adult support service has a positive social impact and generate benefits for society. On the hand, there is the Social NPV OF S/906,807.44 considering the same five years projection with a social discount rate of 8% and, on the other hand, the contribution to the achievement of two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 3, “Good Health and Well-being,” and SDG 10, “Reduced Inequalities.”
