Resumen
La presente investigación de tipo descriptivo con el diseño descriptivo - comparativo, tuvo la
finalidad de determinar si existen diferencias significativas en las habilidades conversacionales
entre niños de 6 años de una institución pública de Lima y Arequipa, para lo cual se aplicó el
protocolo de evaluación del componente pragmático de Martínez, el cual fue adaptado a nuestro
contexto y validado por cuatro jueces expertos, dicho protocolo consta de 24 ítems organizados
en cuatro categorías para su aplicación: estructura de la interacción, toma de turnos, reparaciones
de quiebres y manejo del tópico, llegando a evaluar a un total de 56 niños(as), 28 niños(as) en
cada localidad. Se comprobó parcialmente la hipótesis general ya que se concluyó que existen
diferencias significativas en las habilidades conversacionales entre niños de 6 años de una
institución pública de Lima y Arequipa, en sólo en dos categorías: Estructura de la interacción y
estrategias de reparación, obteniendo mejor logro de la habilidad los niños de la localidad de
Lima.
The present descriptive research with a descriptive-comparative design, had the purpose of determining if there are significant differences in the conversational skills between 6-year-old children from a public institution in Lima and Arequipa, for which the evaluation protocol of the pragmatic component of Martínez was applied, which was adapted to our context and validated by four expert judges, said protocol consists of 24 items organized into four categories for its application: structure of the interaction, turn-taking, repair of breaks and management of the topic, reaching the evaluation of a total of 56 children, 28 children in each locality. The general hypothesis was partially verified since it was concluded that there are significant differences in the conversational skills between 6-year-old children from a public institution in Lima and Arequipa, in only two categories: Structure of the interaction and repair strategies, obtaining better achievement of the skill in the children of the locality of Lima.
