cultural, emprendimiento y adaptación a contextos diversos.
educativo.
The research study "Relevance of the Graduate Profile to Socio-Labor Demands According to Graduates of an Artistic Education Program at a Higher School of Art in Lima" examines how the competencies acquired in artistic training align with labor market challenges. In a context where opportunities are limited and artists face ongoing difficulties in securing employment, this study aims to analyze graduates' experiences and assess whether their graduate profile meets sector demands. A qualitative approach was adopted, combining semi-structured interviews and document analysis. Six graduates from the 2020–2023 period participated, and the data were examined through source triangulation. By analyzing interviews, the graduate profile, and curricula vitae, both strengths and weaknesses in the training received were identified. The findings reveal that, although the graduate profile establishes important foundations in the artistic and educational fields, gaps persist that hinder preparation for the socio-labor market. This highlights the need to strengthen competencies in cultural management, entrepreneurship, and adaptation to diverse contexts. To address these shortcomings, graduates have supplemented their training through selfdirected learning or external work experiences, such as participating in independent projects, artistic collaborations, and self-management activities. These results highlight the urgency of updating the graduate profile by integrating tools that promote a more comprehensive education aligned with the evolving job market. This would not only facilitate a more effective transition into the workforce but also enhance graduates' contributions to the artistic and educational fields.
