Abstract
La educación contable, influenciada por factores económicos y políticas regionales, a menudo
se centra en métodos estructurados y repetitivos que se resisten a la innovación educativa. A
pesar de estas limitaciones, los estudiantes deben desarrollar destrezas para emitir juicios
sobre diversas situaciones financieras.
Frente a este escenario, surge la necesidad de una transformación pedagógica en la enseñanza
de la contabilidad. Se presenta una propuesta innovadora: una guía didáctica para docentes de
una universidad privada en Cusco, específicamente en el curso de Auditoría Financiera,
basada en el estudio de casos. Esta guía didáctica busca fomentar la aplicación práctica y la
formación contable en contextos reales, mejorando el enfoque pedagógico, métodos activos y
colaborativos de los docentes. Asimismo, metodologías como el estudio de casos, son
esenciales para enseñar contabilidad desde diversas perspectivas y promover el pensamiento
crítico y el trabajo colaborativo. Para su efectividad, los casos deben ser pedagógicamente
útiles, relevantes y auténticos, dando apertura a diversas perspectivas y soluciones.
Para que esta guía didáctica sea efectiva y viable, se aplicó un proceso de validación de
expertos que, mediante cuestionarios y entrevistas, mencionan que el documento es pertinente
para fortalecer las habilidades del docente y que representa un avance significativo hacia la
transformación de la enseñanza de la contabilidad, permitiendo a los docentes tener una
mirada más concreta sobre las situaciones y ejercicios contables que se pueden enseñar en las
sesiones.
Accounting education often emphasizes structured and repetitive methods influenced by economic factors and regional policies, which can inhibit educational innovation. Despite these challenges, students must cultivate judgment skills for diverse financial scenarios. In response to these circumstances, there is a growing need for pedagogical reform in accounting education. One innovative initiative is a teaching guide designed for instructors at a private university in Cusco, specifically for the Financial Audit course, employing a case study methodology. This guide aims to enhance pedagogical approaches by encouraging practical application and real-world accounting training, fostering active and collaborative teaching methods among educators. Case studies play a crucial role in offering diverse perspectives, promoting critical thinking, and facilitating teamwork. The case study method is particularly effective in challenging traditional teaching practices in accounting. By selecting cases that address specific areas of professional practice, students gain a comprehensive understanding of potential challenges in their future careers. To ensure the effectiveness and feasibility of this teaching guide, it underwent a validation process involving experts who confirmed its relevance in enhancing teaching skills. This innovative approach represents a significant step towards transforming accounting education, offering instructors a practical perspective on integrating real-world accounting scenarios into their teaching sessions. This approach aims to provide students with more meaningful, contextualized, and practical training, preparing them more effectively for professional success.
