Resumen
La presente investigación resalta la importancia de la expresión corporal en la vida de
los niños, en especial porque en los últimos años se observó que ellos desarrollan su
aprendizaje de diversas maneras y este tiene un impacto a lo largo de toda la vida. En
ese sentido, el problema de estudio es: ¿Cuáles son las percepciones docentes sobre
la expresión corporal para favorecer el desarrollo integral de los niños del ciclo II en
una institución educativa privada en Lima?, cuyo objetivo general es analizar las
percepciones de docentes acerca de la expresión corporal y su contribución al
desarrollo integral infantil, mientras que los objetivos específicos son describir las
manifestaciones de la expresión corporal que las docentes identifican, como conocer
las experiencias, creencias y maneras en las que la aplican dentro de la institución
educativa en la que laboran. La metodología del estudio es cualtitativa y la técnica de
recojo de información es la entrevista semiestructurada. A partir del contraste de la
información recogida y fuentes teóricas, los resultados obtenidos concluyen en que las
profesionales reconocen la importancia y las maneras en la que la expresión corporal
influye y favorece al desarrollo integral infantil en el contexto escolar. Seguidamente
del análisis, se detalla la conclusión de este, las recomendaciones, las referencias y
los anexos correspondientes.
This research highlights the significance of corporal expression in children's lives, particularly because, in recent years, it has been observed that they develop their learning in diverse ways, which has a lifelong impact. In this regard, the research problem is: What are teachers' perceptions of body expression in fostering the holistic development of Cycle II children in a private educational institution in Lima? wich general objective is to analyze teachers' perceptions of corporal expression and its contribution to children's holistic development. The specific objectives include describing the manifestations of body expression identified by teachers, as well as exploring their experiences, beliefs, and the ways in which they apply it within the educational institution where they work. This study follows a qualitative methodology, employing semi-structured interviews as the data collection technique. Through the comparison of collected data with theoretical sources. The study findings indicate that educators acknowledge the importance of body expression and its influence in promoting holistic child development within the school context. The study concludes with an analysis of the findings, followed by recommendations, references, and relevant annexes.
