Resumen
Los docentes continuamente buscan actualizarse según los avances actuales,
recurriendo a metodologías activas integradas con la tecnología. En este
contexto, los docentes del área de Educación Religiosa buscan mejorar su
práctica educativa y el aprendizaje de sus estudiantes. A pesar de ello, muchas
veces, estos docentes tienen el problema de mantener la motivación del
estudiante y que se trabaje de forma colaborativa.
Por lo tanto, el objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar el desarrollo del
aprendizaje colaborativo en el área de Educación Religiosa a través de una red
social en los estudiantes de 5to de secundaria de una institución educativa
pública de Lima. Para lograr este objetivo se consideró un enfoque cualitativo,
teniendo como categorías: la percepción del uso de una red social y el
aprendizaje colaborativo y como técnicas: el grupo focal y la observación.
Como resultados, se encontraron que el uso de la red social, WhatsApp fue de
fácil uso, útil y funcional, además contribuyó al trabajo colaborativo e intercambio
de información en el grupo, mejorando la comprensión de temas del área de
Educación Religiosa. Por ello, esta red social constituye una estrategia para
mejorar la motivación y el trabajo colaborativo entre los estudiantes. Sin
embargo, existen algunas limitaciones como la dependencia del uso de internet
y la falta de respuesta oportuna de algunos participantes, lo que puede dificultar
la comunicación y avance del trabajo colaborativo en el tema.
Teachers continually seek to update themselves according to current advances, using active methodologies integrated with technology. In this context, teachers in the area of Religious Education seek to improve their educational practice and the learning of their students. Despite this, many times, these teachers have the problem of maintaining student motivation and working collaboratively. Therefore, the objective, of this research was to analyze the development of collaborative learning in the area of Religious Education through a social network in 5th grade high school students from a public educational institution in Lima. To achieve this objective, a qualitative approach was considered, having as categories: the perception of the use of a social network and collaborative learning and as techniques: the focus group and observation. As results, it was found that the use of the social network, WhatsApp, was easy to use, useful and functional, and also contributed to collaborative work and exchange of information in the group, improving the understanding of topics in the area of Religious Education. Therefore, this social network constitutes a strategy to improve motivation and collaborative work among students. However, there are some limitations such as dependence on the use of the Internet and the lack of timely response from some participants, which can make communication and the advancement of collaborative work on the topic difficult.
