entorno profesional.
This thesis addresses the growing concern about the security of information contained in mobile devices in case of theft or loss, an issue of vital importance in a world where digitalization and the use of mobile technology are increasingly prevalent. With the increased dependence on these devices for the management of sensitive data and the annual increase in mobile device thefts, there has been an increase in increasingly specific cyber threats, which poses a significant risk for both individual users and organizations (FORBES, 2024) The research identifies the main security problems faced by mobile device users when they are lost or stolen since the criminal can have access to all their personal, financial and corporate information. It is highlighted that the lack of comprehensive and effective solutions has left many users vulnerable to data theft and other forms of crime such as extortion and cyber threats to savings accounts (El Peruano, 2023). This context highlights the urgent need to develop a solution that not only protects information, but is also accessible and easy to use. In response to this challenge, ALLOCKY was created, a solution that combines various technologies and security practices, with the aim of comprehensively protecting the information contained in mobile devices. To design the solution, 390 surveys were applied and a focus group was held, in order to understand the needs of users, and existing solutions on the market were reviewed. All these actions allowed the development of a prototype, which was evaluated by two experts in the development of mobile applications, who, based on their experience and knowledge of existing software, validated the possibility of adapting a base software in order to add different functions to satisfy the identified need, thus concluding the feasibility of the project. ALLOCKY is proposed as a tool that not only comprehensively protects the information contained in mobile devices and makes it inaccessible, but will also improve security practices; both characteristics make it have a high level of acceptance in the market in general. The financial analysis of the project demonstrates its viability with a NPV of US$ 661,616 and an internal rate of return (IRR) of 103%. ALLOCKY is not only an alternative to secure the information contained in mobile devices, but is also presented as an alternative that seeks to reduce crime rates in the country, with a Social NPV of S/. 14,487,563. The thesis concludes that ALLOCKY represents an effective response to the security challenges in mobile devices. The implementation of this solution will not only contribute to the protection of information, but will also promote greater awareness of cybersecurity among users. The adoption of ALLOCKY is recommended as an essential tool for anyone who uses mobile devices in their daily life or in a professional environment.
