Abstract
This investigation goal was to identify the accomplishment level of the TQM factors on clothing commercialization enterprises at Lambayeque Region. The tool that was used was the questionnaire proposed by Benzaquen (2013) that includes nine success TQM factors grouped in four blocks: Senior Management, (b) Suppliers, (c) Process Management, and (d) Costumers. The investigation had a quantitative, descriptive approach and a transactional design. A sample of 167 clothing commercialization enterprises that operate at Chiclayo was considered. This city is the one that has the highest number of commercial facilities at Lambayeque Region. The final results showed that the total of participating clothing commercialization enterprises at Lambayeque Region have a medium accomplishment level of TQM factors. However, there are some factors that have a higher tendency to the high level as: Leadership – Senior Management, (b) Process Control and Enhancement, and (c) Education and Training. The following factors are found at the medium level: (d) Quality Auditing and Evaluation, and (e) Quality Circles. Factor with a low level tendency are: (f) Quality Planning, (g) Customer Satisfaction Focus, (h) Supplier Quality Management, and (d) Product Design. These results show that clothing commercialization enterprises at Lambayeque Region, most of them microenterprises, have found a way to give a positive response to the TQM success factors; however, they need to pay attention to fundamental factors as customer satisfaction
