Modelo ProLab: VR-SAFE, modelo de negocio orientado a reducir el índice de accidentes en minería a través de un servicio integral de capacitación y entrenamiento inmersivo

Abstract
La presente investigación se centra en la problemática de los altos índices de accidentes
laborales al que está expuesto el personal minero entre 18 y 65 años que labora en las grandes,
medianas y pequeñas empresas de la minería formal en Perú. Mediante entrevistas se
identificaron diferentes patrones de comportamiento y las necesidades del usuario, el cual
considera que las capacitaciones brindadas en temas de seguridad han ayudado a reducir la tasa,
pero aún tienen debilidades y estas pueden mejorar para ser más efectivas sobre todo en el
personal que lleva a cabo trabajos de alto riesgo.
La solución planteada es un servicio especializado e innovador que mediante el uso
integrado de herramientas tecnológicas se centran en mejorar el comportamiento, conocimiento y
actitud del trabajador, permitiéndole experimentar simulaciones reales y peligrosas de su entorno
de trabajo, y así puedan comprender mejor los riesgos y procedimientos de manera efectiva.
Además del uso de la Realidad Virtual (RV) como experiencia inmersiva, se incorpora la
Inteligencia Artificial, específicamente en el campo de Visión por Computador, el cual ayudará
en la identificación automatizada de peligros y riesgos durante el entrenamiento y la ejecución de
trabajos, mejorando la toma de decisiones. El modelo de negocio aparte de ofrecer un servicio de
aprendizaje innovador a las empresas mineras y contratistas comprometidas con la seguridad,
busca a la vez cumplir con las normas de capacitación y entrenamiento exigidas por el gobierno,
mientras que la escalabilidad del negocio se logrará hacia diferentes sectores y regiones.
Según el análisis financiero se requiere de una inversión inicial de S/ 564,170.00 Soles
para la consolidación y expansión de la empresa, además dentro de los indicadores claves usados
arroja como Valor Actual Neto (VAN) el monto de S/ 5’352,774.00 Soles, un VAN social de S/.
13’609,513.23 Soles y una Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) del 121.02%, concluyendo que el
negocio es viable y rentable.
The present investigation focuses on the problem of the high rates of occupational accidents to which mining personnel between 18 and 65 years old who work in large, medium and small formal mining companies in Peru are exposed. Through interviews, different behavior patterns and user needs were identified. The user considers that the training provided on safety issues has helped to reduce the rate, but it still has weaknesses and these can be improved to be more effective, especially for personnel who carry out high-risk work. The solution proposed is a specialized and innovative service that, through the integrated use of technological tools, focuses on improving the behavior, knowledge and attitude of the worker, allowing him to experience real and dangerous simulations of their work environment, so to better understand the risks and procedures in an effective way. In addition to the use of Virtual Reality (VR) as an immersive experience, Artificial Intelligence is incorporated, specifically in the field of Computer Vision, which will help in the automated identification of hazards and risks during training and work execution, improving decision making. The business model, apart from offering an innovative learning service to mining companies and contractors committed to safety, also seeks to comply with the training standards required by the government, while scalability will be achieved of the business model to different sectors and regions. According to the financial analysis, an initial investment of S/ 564,170.00 Soles is required for the consolidation and expansion of the company.
