Abstract
En el presente documento se elabora el plan estratégico de los Laboratorios
Farmacéuticos Nacionales. Producto del extenso análisis de factores internos y externos que
impactan a los Laboratorios Farmacéuticos Nacionales, se identificaron las fortalezas,
debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas relevantes a los mismos. A partir de esta
información, fue posible plantear estrategias que fueron posteriormente elaboradas a través de
diferentes matrices; producto de las cuales se retuvieron las estrategias claves que se deben
realizar para alcanzar los objetivos de largo plazo y cumplir con sus respectivos objetivos de
corto plazo, con el fin último de lograr la visión planteada.
Las empresas farmacéuticas peruanas tienen un potencial de desarrollo atractivo a
nivel local, ya que se muestra un bajo nivel de consumo de medicamentos a comparación con
otros países de la región, mismo que puede elevarse. Debido a la actual posición competitiva
débil frente a la industria extranjera, las estrategias planteadas en este planeamiento
estratégico se direccionan a la diferenciación y exclusividad, así como a la gestión óptima de
sus recursos. Habiendo también identificado demandas potenciales de exportación y sectores
económicos no aprovechados por sus competidores extranjeros, se plantean estrategias
agresivas de penetración de mercados y desarrollo de productos. Todo ello buscando ser los
líderes en participación, generando rentabilidad a sus accionistas, ofertando productos de alta
calidad, con un enfoque de responsabilidad social.
This document is the Strategic Planning of the Peruvian Pharmaceutical Laboratories. As a result of an extensive analysis of internal and external factors that impact Peruvian pharmaceutical laboratories, outstanding strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats were identified. Based on this information, strategies were designed, and by means of several matrices, relevant strategies were retained in order to reach long-term objectives and their respective short-term objectives, with the final goal of accomplishing proposed vision. Peruvian pharmaceutical laboratories have an attractive development opportunity, as local pharmaceutical products demand is low in comparison to other countries of the region, which can improve. Considering a weak competitive position towards foreign pharmaceutical companies, proposed strategies are oriented to differentiation and exclusivity, as well as the optimal resource management. Also considering potential demand in exports and economic sectors not supplied by competitors, aggressive strategies of market penetration and product development are suggested. That, seeking to become market leaders, assuring returns to shareholders, offering high quality products, with a social responsibility approach.
