Abstract
nivel nacional y tercero a nivel internacional
This document is the Strategic Planning of Cañihua. This plan is the result of an extensive analysis of the external and internal factors of the Cañihua industry that allows us to identify which ones are the main opportunities, threats, strengths and weakness factors of this industry. The development of several matrixs led to establish the most important strategies to accomplish the main long term and its respective short term objectives, with the purpose of reaching the outlined vision. The Cañihua is a new industry here, in compare with others products, it’s farming is really small and through the years has been made basically for self-consume and it is mostly unknown on different zones in Peru. The strategy proposed at this Strategic Planning are to show the Cañihua to the local people and also it’s diffusion at United States, European Union and Canada (main importers of Cañihua) and organize the productive chain, made the farming more technical and realize a genetic improvement of the Cañihua seed to make it grow stable and profitable, with a vision to be the 2nd largest Andean grain production and consumption in Peru and the third one worldwide
