Resumen
El presente estudio titulado "Estrategias de Innovación y Tecnología para
Mejorar la Calidad Educativa en la Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de
Mayolo" comprende la problemática de la limitada integración de innovaciones
tecnológicas y estrategias pedagógicas avanzadas en esta universidad, lo que
afecta la calidad educativa. El objetivo principal de la investigación es evaluar y
proponer estrategias que contribuyan a la mejora de la calidad educativa en la
UNASAM.
Para alcanzar este objetivo, se empleó un enfoque metodológico mixto que
combinó herramientas cuantitativas y cualitativas. Se aplicaron encuestas a 184
docentes y 2138 estudiantes de pregrado, con el propósito de recopilar
información sobre la disponibilidad y el uso de recursos tecnológicos. Además,
se llevaron a cabo entrevistas semiestructuradas con autoridades académicas,
personal administrativo y lideres estudiantiles, lo que permitió tener más
información sobre los desafíos tecnológicos identificados en la UNASAM.
Asimismo, se revisaron y analizaron documentos institucionales y normativas
vigentes relacionadas al tema de investigación.
Los resultados permitieron identificar los retos significativos que afronta la
UNASAM en cuanto a la actualización de su infraestructura tecnológica y la
formación continua de los docentes, lo que ha permitido conocer sobre la calidad
educativa. Entre las conclusiones más destacadas, se identificó la necesidad
urgente de modernizar los equipos tecnológicos y garantizar un adecuado
mantenimiento. También se resaltó la importancia de implementar políticas de
innovación que estén alineadas con los estándares nacionales e internacionales.
Como parte de las propuestas, se plantearon estrategias realizables, como la
capacitación constante en nuevas tecnologías y la promoción de una cultura de
innovación dentro de la universidad.
This study, titled "Innovation and Technology Strategies to Improve Educational Quality at the National University Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo," addresses the issue of limited integration of technological innovations and advanced pedagogical strategies at this university, which affects educational quality. The main objective of the research is to evaluate and propose strategies that significantly contribute to improving educational quality at UNASAM. To achieve this objective, a mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques. Surveys were conducted with 184 teachers and 2138 students to collect data on the availability and use of technological resources, and semi-structured interviews were carried out with academic and administrative leaders to deepen the understanding of technological challenges. Additionally, a documentary analysis of institutional policies and applicable regulations was conducted. The results indicate that UNASAM faces significant challenges in updating its technological infrastructure and providing continuous training to its staff, negatively impacting the perception of educational quality. Among the most relevant conclusions, there is an urgent need to modernize technological equipment and improve its maintenance, as well as to implement innovation policies aligned with national and international standards. Finally, concrete strategies are proposed to overcome these challenges, including continuous training in new technologies and the promotion of a culture of innovation within the university.
