Abstract
proyecto genera bienestar social.
aplicaciones comerciales.
The ProLab model represents an innovative alternative in the pitahaya support stake market. This is focus on comprehensively addressing the needs of growers, offering a superior solution to the current limitations of concrete and wood stakes. Through surveys and interviews, the demand for a product with high durability, easy installation and economic cost has been identified. For the present study, secondary information has been collected on the growth projection of pitahaya production and demand at national and international level, with the objective of estimating the market need for different types of stakes. Likewise, through surveys and interviews, it was identified that pitahaya growers are looking for a product with high durability, easy installation and economic cost. The final product is a plastic stake created with high-density recycled polyethylene, which meets a value proposal that offers not only greater durability and lower cost, but also seeks to reduce poverty and environmental impact, key points of the Sustainable Development Goals and Targets (SDGs). The economic viability of the project is based on S/1 ́155,167.19, the present value of the expected future cash flows of the project (NPV) where the income generated exceeds the cost of the invested capital and an expected return on investment (IRR) of 43.21%. Additionally, the project was supported through the calculation of the social NPV with a result of 6 ́171,389.40, the project generates social welfare. These financial indicators confirm the strength of the business model, which aims to sustain strategic growth by contributing to the economic and sustainable development of the Piura region through the scalable use of the product for other markets, maximizing its commercial applications.
