Abstract
This research consisted of a strategic consultancy conducted for Delicass, a company in the restaurant and coffee industry. The objective was to conduct a general diagnosis, identify a problem or opportunity, and propose a solution. In this sense, the main strengths, and opportunities for improvement of Delicass, as well as the opportunities and threats in this environment, were evaluated. Based on this evaluation, the main challenges currently faced by the company were identified, with the most significant being the use of information to generate competitive advantages and optimize revenues and costs, which was not part of its current strategy. Specific examples were also presented where Delicass may be losing revenue or opportunities, as observed in the initial analysis of its historical sales information (Chapter III). Since this is a strategic problem, the solution requires facing it from different fronts (pillars) and the commitment of the CEO to ensure its success. Although the initial solution may not fully resolve all of Delicass's challenges, it is believed to involve laying the first bricks in information management, which will allow the company to scale its business.
