Abstract
El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar las disposiciones de población
religiosa hacia personas LGB, a la luz de las posibles relaciones existentes entre los valores,
las imágenes de Dios, los estilos de liderazgo de sus superiores y comportamientos prosociales
o violentos. Para este fin se utilizó una metodología de mixta de dos estudios. El primer estudio,
de enfoque cualitativo, recoge las disposiciones de la población religiosa hacia las personas
LGB, desde el marco conceptual de la prosocialidad y la violencia. El segundo estudio, de
enfoque cuantitativo, valida un instrumento sobre las disposiciones hacia las personas LGB
por parte de la población religiosa y analiza las relaciones entre dichas disposiciones y las
variables mencionadas. Los resultados del primer estudio proponen una organización de las
descripciones de los participantes en tres niveles de disposiciones (Violencia directa, Violencia
Benevolente y Prosocialidad hipotética). Los resultados del segundo estudio recogen las
evidencias de validez psicométrica del instrumento creado a partir del estudio 1 y proponen
modelos hipotético-complejos (análisis de senderos) para explicar la peculiaridad de cada uno
de estos niveles. Se discuten los resultados de ambos estudios a la luz de las variables
implicadas y se destaca el papel central que desarrollan las dimensiones del Liderazgo
Transformacional.
The aim of this research is to analyze the dispositions of the religious population towards LGB people, in relation to the possible relationships between values, images of God, leadership styles of their superiors and prosocial or violent behaviors. To this purpose, a mixed methodology of two studies was used. The first study, with a qualitative approach, gathers the dispositions of the religious population towards LGB people, from the conceptual framework of prosociality and violence. The second study, with a quantitative approach, validates an instrument on the dispositions towards LGB people by the religious population and analyzes the relationships between these dispositions and the aforementioned variables. The results of the first study propose an organization of the participants' descriptions into three levels of dispositions (Direct Violence, Benevolent Violence and Hypothetical Prosociality). The results of the second study bring together the evidence of psychometric validity of the instrument created from study 1 and propose hypothetico-deductive models (path analysis) to explain the peculiarity of each of these levels. The results of both studies are discussed in terms of the variables involved and the central role of the Transformational Leadership dimensions is highlighted.
