AMARU is defined as a platform that seeks to innovate in the digital field through personal and family memories, whose legacies will be preserved in video, audio, image, or text. Based on the needs of its clients, this platform will offer what its users require. The proposal is aimed at two types of users: the Digital Archivist—young people who want to preserve their legacy and the memories of their elders—and the Memory Keeper, older individuals whose purpose is to leave valuable memories to their families. During the ideation of the proposal, there were several prior stages: the moment of empathy, during which, in order to analyze and understand what it means to preserve and share memories and experiences, a study with interviews and surveys of potential users was conducted to understand their perspective and gather their insights. With these insights, the platform developed a minimum viable prototype (MVP) that received approval from its end users. The process was repeated to observe and achieve the expected results. With a freemium model, they will have free access to a series of benefits and functionalities offered by the platform. It is also intended to ensure financial viability and scalability. With an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 192.69% and a financial Net Present Value (NPV) of $1,149,163, AMARU will be financially sustainable. The project requires an initial investment of $438,916, of which 45.57% is contributed by the partners and 54.43% comes from financing. In addition, a social NPV of $1,072,375 is projected, which demonstrates the positive impact on society by preserving and transmitting the cultural and family legacy.
