Abstract
Social Responsibility has been became over the years a very important place, not only on business, the common consumers are interested too, who apparently have changed their habits and there is some evidence to believe that their decisions involve more critical factors, not only price .They show responsibility for environmental care, social contribution and quality of the products they buy. There are few empirical researches that supports this fact, however in last years, more researchers have been a big efforts in Latin America to establish and document the relation. This is the case of Marquina (2009), one of the only empirical investigations in Lima, Peru made from the subject. This research, based on Marquina (2009) research, seeks to determine the influence that CSR has on the Peruvians Costumer Behavior, in Arequipa city, in order to extending the context and the influence of it. The experiment was development under Discrete Choice Models Methods, with the objective of quantifying the intention and willingness to pay for the actions of social responsibility developed by companies. The experiment was performed using a stratified random sample of 132 consumers from Arequipa city. The research provides empirical evidence of the positive relationship between CSR and the costumer behavior of the sample. Study results indicate that the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility is superior to the Corporate Competencies.
