A través
This study addresses the frequent failures in the heavy machinery of ECOSEM Huaraucaca, a leading company in mining, construction, and transportation. Through a thorough analysis, it was identified that the primary cause is the lack of an adequate preventive maintenance system, resulting in high operational costs, prolonged downtime, and negative impacts on productivity and the company's image. As a solution, the development of an Automated Preventive Maintenance Management System Based on ICT is proposed, featuring functionalities such as automated scheduling, preventive alerts, and centralized resource management. This system aims to optimize processes, minimize failures, and ensure a transition to a more technological and sustainable model. The financial analysis demonstrates the feasibility of the project, with a total investment of S/ 750,000 and benefits such as a 5% annual increase in revenues, an 8% reduction in operational costs, and a 10% decrease in downtime. Indicators such as the Economic NPV (S/ 467,216.12) and the Economic IRR (32.70%) confirm its profitability and sustainability. The plan will be executed in three phases: design, installation and integration, and optimization, within a 12-month timeline. The success of the project will depend on the commitment of senior management, staff training, and alignment with strategic and sustainable objectives, enabling the company to strengthen its competitive position and lay the foundation for long-term growth.
