Abstract
This strategic plan has been designed for Nonmetallic Mining sector of Peru, composed of producers and marketers of wide range of products such as gypsum, clay, sand, coal and cement, among others. Today it is composed of large number of actors, scattered across the country, of which an estimated 50% operate informally, without access to financing and low quality standards sector. Given this context and recognizing that the market offers opportunities such as the development of the construction sector which is the main customer, has emerged as vision as follows: 2025 to be organized, formalized, with a high production and representation in exports highly profitable, being recognized by the diversity of commercial non-metallic minerals with high quality, generating well-paid, within the framework of sustainable development employment. The proposed vision is achieved through the implementation of strategies covering different areas such as the penetration of the Ecuadorian and Bolivian market, as well as the development of the Chilean market. Forward vertical integration is also proposed, allowing producers to improve their business margins and acquire knowledge about consumers, their requirements and expectations. With this we can develop high quality products and brands, which will increase the added value and reduce dependence on prices and commodities. There is expected to have a highly profitable 2025, where all employees have safety and training programs in order to develop their skills sector. The communities also benefit by having companies responsible to the environment and their environment, promoting local employment.
