Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo desarrollar un diagnóstico
operativo empresarial para la empresa E. y C. Metalikas S.A.C., con el cual se identificarán
las principales oportunidades de mejora para sus procesos y presentar al mismo tiempo las
propuestas de mejora relacionadas.
El diagnóstico operativo empresarial de la planta de producción de la empresa
Metalikas ha consistido en una revisión integral y objetiva de los principales aspectos
relacionados a la administración de operaciones productivas. Se empleo como marco teórico
de la evaluación los aspectos desarrollados en el Capítulo II.
La empresa cuenta con fortalezas muy importantes, como son: (a) certificación de sus
procesos de planta en la norma ISO 9001:2008, (b) maquinaria de última generación para
trabajar el acero y (c) personal altamente calificado. Estas fortalezas son una base
fundamental para el establecimiento de las propuestas de mejora, las cuales tienen como
objetivo incrementar la productividad de las operaciones productivas, la reducción del costo
operativo, e incrementar la competitividad de la empresa.
La principal problemática identificada en la empresa esta relacionada a la falta de una
adecuada gestión de los proyectos y una limitada planificación y seguimiento de las
actividades productivas. Sobre esta problemática y otros puntos identificados, se han
formulado propuesta de mejora y recomendaciones.
La implementación integral de las propuestas de mejora que son presentadas en este
documento le permitirá a la empresa incrementar su productividad en aproximadamente 15%
respecto a la situación actual y el desarrollo de ahorros de costos de aproximadamente el
2.5% de las ventas totales del año. Lo cual contribuirá en un mejor posicionamiento de la
empresa en el mercado y un incremento esperado en la satisfacción integral de sus clientes
The objective of this research work is to develop an operative business diagnosis for the company E. y C. Metalikas SAC, with which the main opportunities for improvement for their processes and present at the same time the related improvement proposals. The operational diagnosis of the Metalikas production plant has consisted of a comprehensive and objective review of the main aspects related to the management of productive operations. The aspects developed in Chapter II were used as the theoretical framework of the evaluation. The company has very important strengths, such as: (a) certification of its plant processes in ISO 9001: 2008, (b) state-of-the-art machinery to work steel and (c) highly qualified personnel. These strengths are a fundamental basis for the establishment of improvement proposals, which aim to increase the productivity of productive operations, reduce operating costs, and increase the competitiveness of the company. The main problem identified in the company is related to the lack of proper management of projects and limited planning and monitoring of productive activities. On this problem and other points identified, a proposal for improvement and recommendations have been formulated. The integral implementation of the improvement proposals that are presented in this document will allow the company to increase its productivity by approximately 15% compared to the current situation and the development of cost savings of approximately 2.5% of the total sales of the year. Which will contribute to a better positioning of the company in the market and an expected increase in the overall satisfaction of its customers.
