financieramente viable y rentable a largo plazo.
This project proposes the implementation of a land leasing model for agricultural production in the Piura region, focused on growing blueberries in pots, with the aim of integrating small farmers into the agro-export value chain. Under this model, the company assumes responsibility for the investment and management of the crops, while farmers receive an annual payment for leasing their land and have the option to be formally employed in the project. Blueberries, a product with high international demand, offer a profitable alternative for farmers who, due to a lack of technical knowledge and financial resources, have been unable to diversify their crops or access global markets. The project aims to address these limitations by adopting advanced technologies, such as pot cultivation and drip irrigation systems, and providing farmers with specialized training in managing high-value crops. To validate the project's hypotheses, studies and financial analyses were conducted, confirming that the business model is desirable, viable, and sustainable. Farmers expressed interest in participating in land leasing and receiving technical training, reinforcing the project's desirability. Additionally, financial indicators, such as Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR), demonstrated that the model is financially viable and profitable in the long term. The project not only offers a scalable and economically viable solution for the company but also promotes the social and economic inclusion of small farmers, enhancing their quality of life and contributing to the sustainable growth of the agro-industry in Piura. The final decision is to move forward with the implementation of the model, with plans for expansion, solidifying its positive impact on financial, social, and environmental fronts.
