Abstract
This research aims to identify and analyze the discourses and perceptions of success among young people of Generation Z in Lima. The methodological approach was qualitative research that gathered thirteen semi-structured interviews with individuals aged fifteen to seventeen. Through this method, the preferred use of social media plays a significant role in shaping the models of success from which the discourses of these young individuals emerge. These discourses exhibit an underlying understandment of the neoliberal cultural framework, enabling them to regulate, shape, and safeguard their identity in the virtual environment.
