Abstract
a determinadas denuncias.
Lawfare is a political legal concept that is in vogue in Latin America and accounts for the improper use of Law, in the field of politics, as a weapon of war, ideologically neutral in principle, that seeks, by prosecuting certain causes, the destruction of the public image and the disqualification of a political adversary or enemy, counting for this with the support of the hegemonic media and in many cases concentrated in a few power groups, in order to give wide media coverage to certain complaints. In this way, they seek to manufacture a certain consensus in public opinion, denigrating or destroying the image of certain political actors, generally seeking to maintain the status quo and, therefore, blocking and attacking any proposal for change in society.
