Análisis de los factores que contribuyen o limitan el logro de los objetivos del CAR mixto de San Miguel en la atención a los adultos mayores durante los años 2023 - 2024

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación describe los hallazgos del análisis de los factores que contribuyen o limitan el logro de los objetivos del CAR mixto de San Miguel en la atención a los adultos mayores, donde aspectos como la atención integral y multidisciplinarios es esencial para satisfacer las necesidades básicas de autorrealización, alimentación, protección y salud que tienen los adultos mayores. El principal propósito de la investigación es profundizar si los servicios ofrecidos por el CAR mixto de San Miguel responden a las necesidades de los adultos mayores para que puedan tener una vejez digna. También, de enfatizar en la importancia de que el CAR trabaje de manera articulada con otras entidades del Estado y de hacer hincapié sobre la importancia de realizar una intervención familiar desde un contexto residencial como terapéutico orientado siempre a la reinserción familiar, para proponer medidas de mejora que busquen efectivizar su atención. Se busca analizar los factores multidimensionales que contribuyen en la mejora de los servicios ofrecidos desde la propuesta del CAR mixto San Miguel, así como también analizar aquellos que aparecen como limitantes que estuvieran debilitando el acceso a los servicios de salud, la autorrealización, apoyo emocional, de alimentación y protección que esperan las PAM. Es pertinente valorar el nivel en que las PAM perciben el envejecimiento activo y saludable, así como conocer si los servicios contribuyen o no al bienestar y se ajuste a sus necesidades. El involucramiento de actores sociales como: Adultos mayores albergados y al equipo responsable del funcionamiento del CAR mixto San miguel fueron importantes para conocer sobre el planteamiento del programa, recogiendo los hallazgos, teniendo como referencia la política del programa y considerando que existe varios estudios previos que corroboran la problemática existente. Los resultados primordiales que se han encontrado en la investigación, se agrupan en 3 lineamientos que son: i) Servicios ofrecidos por el CAR mixto de San Miguel responden a las necesidades de los adultos mayores, ii) acciones de articulación que realiza el CAR con otras entidades del Estado permiten que los adultos mayores accedan a otros beneficios y, iii) acciones realizadas por el CAR están logrando la reinserción familiar del adulto mayor Determinando que existe un fuerte reconocimiento de parte de los residentes adultos mayores y profesionales encargados del funcionamiento del CAR mixto San Miguel que, si bien se viene atendiendo las necesidades primordiales de las PAM, existen aún aspectos por mejorar en los servicios de salud, educación, asesorías legales y de recreación. Finalmente, se reconoce que el CAR mixto San Miguel a través de sus intervenciones multidisciplinarios, llega a satisfacer las necesidades, vela por la protección de sus derechos fundamentales y garantiza la vida digna para cada adulto mayor.

This research paper describes the findings of the analysis of the factors that contribute to or limit the achievement of the objectives of the mixed CAR of San Miguel in the care of older adults, where aspects such as comprehensive and multidisciplinary care is essential to meet the basic needs of self-realisation, food, protection and health that older adults have. The main purpose of the research is to deepen if the services offered by the mixed CAR of San Miguel respond to the needs of older adults so that they can have a dignified old age. Also, to emphasize the importance of the CAR working in coordination with other State entities and to emphasize the importance of carrying out a family intervention from a residential and therapeutic context, always oriented towards family reintegration, in order to propose improvement measures that seek to make their care more effective. The aim is to analyse the multidimensional factors that contribute to the improvement of the services offered from the proposal of the San Miguel mixed CAR, as well as to analyse those that appear as limiting factors that are weakening access to health services, self-realisation, emotional support, food and protection expected by the PAMs. It is relevant to assess the level at which the PAMs perceive active and healthy ageing, as well as to know whether or not the services contribute to wellbeing and whether or not the services contribute to the well-being of the PAMs. The main results that have been found in the research are grouped into three areas: i) services offered by the CAR Mixto de San Miguel respond to the needs of older adults, ii) articulation actions carried out by the CAR with other State entities allow older adults to access other benefits, and iii) actions carried out by the CAR are achieving the reintegration of older adults into their families. The older adult residents and professionals in charge of the operation of the San Miguel RAC are strongly aware that, although the primary needs of the PAMs are being met, there are still areas for improvement in health services, education, legal advice and recreation. Finally, it is recognised that the CAR mixto San Miguel, through its multidisciplinary interventions, meets the needs, ensures the protection of their fundamental rights and guarantees a dignified life for each older adult.
