Abstract
La situación educativa en el Perú presenta desafíos significativos, como lo evidencian
los bajos porcentajes de niños que alcanzan los estándares de aprendizaje en Matemáticas y
Lectura, así como el bajo desempeño en la prueba PISA 2018 a nivel mundial. Estos datos
resaltan la urgente necesidad de proporcionar apoyo a los estudiantes para mejorar su
rendimiento académico (Ministerio de Educación [MINEDU], 2021a).
Durante el análisis, se identificó una alta demanda de apoyo académico personalizado,
debido a que los padres enfrentan dificultades para brindar este apoyo por la falta de tiempo,
y los profesores carecen de recursos, muchos buscando ingresos adicionales dadas las bajas
pensiones jubilatorias. Ante esta problemática, se destaca la relevancia de nuestra propuesta
de valor.
Esta tesis propone una solución para alumnos que necesiten reforzar su nivel
académico y brindar opciones a padres preocupados por la educación de sus hijos, pero que
carecen de tiempo o conocimientos para brindarles el apoyo necesario. La propuesta consiste
en ofrecer un servicio de tutorías personalizadas mediante una metodología sistematizada que
se centra en el alumno. Se utilizará la tecnología para hacer un seguimiento del aprendizaje, y
se proporcionará una plataforma y aplicativo para acceder a clases de manera segura, rápida y
con profesores garantizados que han sido evaluados y previamente capacitados. Esta solución
no busca reemplazar la educación convencional, sino complementar y brindar apoyo
adicional a los estudiantes que lo necesitan, con el fin de mejorar su rendimiento académico y
su motivación por la educación.
Adicionalmente, este problema afecta no solo a los usuarios directos, sino a toda la
sociedad. Está alineado con el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) 4: Educación de
Calidad y ODS 8 Promover el crecimiento económico inclusivo y sostenible, específicamente con las metas de garantizar una educación inclusiva, equitativa y de calidad, y aumentar la
oferta de docentes calificados.
Como resultado de la viabilidad del modelo de negocio, se han obtenido los siguientes
resultados: una TIR de 67.49%, WACC de 17.43%; un VAN de S/897,157.32. Asimismo, el
VAN social es de S/ 2 ́630,578.58 equivalente a USD 683,267.16 por lo que concluimos que
existe un mercado, en nuestra propuesta de negocio, con un impacto social significativo.
The educational situation in Peru presents significant challenges, as evidenced by low percentages of children reaching learning standards in Mathematics and Reading, as well as poor performance in the 2018 PISA test globally. These data highlight the urgent need to provide support to students to improve their academic performance (Ministerio de Educación [MINEDU], 2021a). During the analysis, a high demand for personalized academic support was identified, but parents face difficulties in providing this support due to lack of time, and teachers lack resources, with many seeking additional income due to low retirement pensions. In response to this issue, the relevance of our value proposition is emphasized. This thesis proposes a solution to improve student performance and support parents concerned about their children's education, but lacking time or knowledge to provide necessary support. The proposal involves offering personalized tutoring services using a systematic methodology centered on the student. Technology will be utilized to track learning progress, and a platform and application will be provided for secure, fast access to classes with guaranteed, evaluated teachers. This solution aims to complement rather than replace conventional education, providing additional support to students in need to enhance their academic performance and motivation for education. Additionally, this problem affects not only direct users but also society as a whole. It aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, specifically targeting inclusive and OSD 8 Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, equitable, and quality education, and increasing the supply of qualified teachers. As a result of the business model's viability, the following results have been obtained: an IRR of 67.49%, WACC of 17.43%; a NPV of S/ 897,157.32. Additionally, the social NPV is S/2 ́630,578.58 equivalent to USD 683,267.16, thus we conclude that there is a market, in our business proposal, with significant social impact.
