sostenible a largo plazo.
In the last decade, the agro-export sector has experienced a notable expansion, especially in the export chain of artichokes from the heart of the Inca valley to Spain. Despite the growing international demand, companies face significant challenges, including adapting to the preferences of European consumers and effectively promoting the health benefits of artichokes. The project presented in this thesis aims to capitalize on this market opportunity, promoting the export of organic artichokes from Peru to Spain. Through digital strategies and social networks, it aspires to increase awareness about the benefits of a healthy diet and position the artichoke as a key product in this segment. The initiative is innovative, as it seeks to integrate the entire value chain, from production to distribution, thus guaranteeing a high-quality product offering that meets the expectations of the European market. In addition, the project is expected to have a positive impact on promoting healthy eating, contributing to the prevention of prevalent non-communicable diseases in Spain. From a financial perspective, the project requires an initial investment of US$ 460,379, of which 50% comes from equity capital intended to initiate business operations. The project is projected to generate sales of US$ 1,292,960 in the first year, with an average growth of 6% per year, reflecting the growing demand for canned vegetables in the Spanish region. In terms of social impact, the project collaborates with the development of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 8, achieving a Social Relevance Index (IRS) of 41.7%. In addition, the project's social Net Present Value (NPV) is US$ 861,253 (equivalent to S/ 3,341,660), demonstrating that it is viable, sustainable, and beneficial to society. Furthermore, it is estimated that the project will have a social benefit equivalent to US$ 861,253 over a 5-year period, promoting personal and business development without causing environmental, nutritional, or health damage. In conclusion, the initiative not only proves to be financially viable and sustainable but also promises to have a significant social impact, benefiting both the Peruvian and Spanish populations. With a solid strategy and effective implementation, the project has every possibility of being successful and sustainable in the long run.
