E-ligeBien, una propuesta de negocio para comparar y elegir las mejores opciones de carreras universitarias en el Perú

Abstract
El plan de negocios propuesto se desarrolla sobre la base de la necesidad identificada de
la falta de información relevante en los jóvenes y adultos peruanos para elegir una carrera,
programa de especialización y universidad adecuada a su perfil, tanto en competencias como en
recursos disponibles, ya que existe una alta tasa de deserción de estudios y/o cambio de carrera.
De acuerdo con el desarrollo de la presente investigación se puede observar que los jóvenes
toman la decisión de su futuro profesional con la influencia de las recomendaciones de familiares
y amigos, así como también de la información que obtienen en las ferias estudiantiles, sin tener
sólidos fundamentos e información comparable que puedan analizar objetivamente para una
correcta toma de decisiones. En adición, un gran porcentaje de jóvenes peruanos no sigue
estudios superiores por falta de recursos y falta de conocimiento tanto de opciones de
financiamiento como de acceso a becas de estudio.
Las nuevas tendencias a nivel global respecto a la convergencia tecnológica, la
masificación del conocimiento, la manera de comunicarse, la búsqueda de información a través
de herramientas digitales y el impacto de la actual pandemia del COVID-19, ha tenido un cambio
sustancial en la forma de obtener información y comunicarse. Por tal motivo, la solución que se
plantea para lograr unificar, consolidar y brindar la información que actualmente hay en los
distintos medios digitales, es la creación de una plataforma digital denominada E-ligeBien, la
cual contará con la capacidad de análisis de datos por medio de bots metabuscadores y podrá
englobar toda la información de las universidades del Perú con sus distintas carreras, beneficios,
costos, modalidades de financiamiento y becas de estudio. Asimismo, cuenta con filtros
especializados para guiar al usuario durante su proceso de elección sobre qué carrera estudiar y dónde hacerlo, tales como test vocacionales, talleres online, ranking de mejores universidades
del país, ubicación e información estadística basada en datos específicos para una eficiente y
óptima toma de decisiones, basado siempre en información objetiva, analítica y comparable por
cualquier usuario.
De acuerdo con las hipótesis planteadas, soportadas por los resultados de entrevistas y
encuestas realizadas, se puede concluir que los usuarios que están en búsqueda de qué y dónde
estudiar, encuentran en la plataforma digital una propuesta valiosa y amigable para la toma de
decisiones. Asimismo, las universidades peruanas están interesadas en contar con una plataforma
externa que consolide información relevante de su institución que permita la visualización de sus
propuestas de valor a través de las carreras y beneficios que ofrecen. De la misma manera se
pudo determinar que para lograr el posicionamiento de la plataforma digital es importante la
buena gestión de marketing, la infraestructura de la tecnología de la Información y las relaciones
estratégicas con los actores claves.
Se concluye que E-ligeBien es un modelo de negocio social y financieramente viable, con
un VAN financiero de S/ 28.4 millones y una TIR de 76.14%, atractivo para los inversionistas
del proyecto, considerando la perpetuidad de este en el tiempo. Asimismo, el proyecto entrega un
VAN social de S/ 6.5 millones, el cual representa el 22.9% del VAN financiero. Con respecto a
la exponencialidad del negocio a mediano plazo, se ha proyectado desarrollar procesos
adicionales de soporte para nuestros clientes, así como otros servicios y herramientas de la
educación que estén alineados a los intereses de los usuarios.
The proposed business plan is developed based on the identified need of the lack of relevant information in Peruvian youth and adults to choose a career, specialization program and university appropriate to their profile both in competencies and available resources being this mismatch one of the key reasons to increase of career drop out and/or change. As per the developed research, young people make decisions about their professional future based on recommendations from family, friends and by attending student fairs, without having solid fundamentals and comparable information that they can analyze objectively for a correct decision-making process. In addition, a large percentage of youth Peruvians do not pursue higher education due to lack of resources and lack of knowledge of financing options and access to scholarships. The new global trends regarding technological convergence, the massification of knowledge, the way of communicating, the search for information through digital tools and the impact of the current Pandemic of COVID-19, has had a substantial change in the way of obtaining information and communicating. For this reason, the solution proposed to unify, consolidate, and provide information currently available in different digital media, is the creation of a digital platform called E-ligeBien, which has the ability to analyze data through meta-search bots and cover all the information of Peruvian universities with its various careers, benefits, costs, financing modalities and scholarships. It also has specialized filters to guide the user during the making- decision process, such as vocational tests, online workshops, ranking of the best universities in the country, location and statistical information based on specific data for an efficient and optimal decision based on objective, analytical and comparable information for any user. According to the proposed hypotheses, supported by the results collected in the interviews and surveys conducted, we concluded that users who are looking for a what and where to study, found the proposed digital platform as a valuable and friendly tool for their decision making. Likewise, Peruvian universities are interested in having an external platform capable to consolidate relevant information about them allowing to visualize their value proposition through their offered careers and benefits. Also, it was determined that good marketing management, infrastructure of Information Technology and strategic relationships with key stakeholders are very important to achieve the Positioning of this digital platform. It is concluded that E-ligeBien is a socially and financially viable business model, with a Financial NPV of S/ 28.4 million and an IRR of 76.4%, which is attractive for the project´s investors, considering its perpetuity over time. Likewise, the project delivers a Social NPV of S/ 6.5 million which represents 22.9% of the Financial NPV. In relation with the business growth in the mid-term, it has been projected to develop additional supporting processes for our clients, as well as other educational services and tools that are aligned with the interests of the users.
