Abstract
Mental health is an integral and essential component in the individual because it allows them to enjoy well-being, enables them to cope with the natural stress of everyday life, work productively and contribute to society. However, in Peru, only 20 % of people suffering from a mental health disorder are attended by a specialized professional, due to the insufficient supply of professionals, social stigmatization, and the effects of the COVID-19. In this sense, the use of existing technology is presented as an efficient alternative to optimize available resources in order to reduce the gaps in mental health care in the population; in spite of this, it is not efficiently used. In this thesis, the following agile methodologies are used: Design Thinking Methodology and Lean Startup Methodology to empathize with the user and, through interviews, to get to deepen and inquire into their pain. Also, how he perceives the problem in order to understand it, define the needs of the target user, devise a solution quickly, proceed with a prototype that can be tested by himself and make the necessary adjustments. This process allows us to learn, build and measure quickly. The result is Harmony, a mobile mental health application available to everyone, which seeks to correctly identify the mental health conditions of users through continuous interaction; in this way, it generates a reliable and secure medical history; it always provides a clear, accurate and accessible clinical diagnosis, which can be downloaded easily in case the intervention of a health specialist is needed. Therefore, it transforms the traditional mental health service proposal into a disruptive, exponential, and sustainable business model, which will increase access to health services by 2.7 % of Lima's population in the first five years and 3.71 % of people screened for mental health conditions. The projected profitability offered by the enterprise is 75.29 % in the first five years.
