Abstract
La presente tesis busca realizar el diagnóstico operativo empresarial de Compañía
Minera Poderosa S.A., con el fin de confrontar la recomendación de los especialistas en
dirección de operaciones productivas sobre la situación actual operacional de la empresa y
determinar oportunidades de mejora que puedan incrementar su rentabilidad, con la
maximización de su eficiencia y eficacia en la producción de oro.
Los primeros capítulos se refieren al diseño y planeamiento de operaciones, procesos,
planta y el trabajo, ejes claves para asegurar que el producto cumpla con las especificaciones
de calidad solicitadas por el cliente. Los capítulos de programación de las operaciones,
planeamiento agregado, gestión de costos, logística, mantenimiento, calidad y cadena de
suministro, han permitido conocer las oportunidades de mejora que Poderosa tiene para
incrementar la eficiencia de su proceso productivo.
Entre las principales propuestas de mejora se tienen: (a) Implementar una planta de
300 Tm/d para los mineros artesanales, (b) reubicación del almacén logística y el grifo de
combustible a las relaveras, y (c) capacitar en programación lineal a las superintendencias y
jefaturas de área. El ahorro proyectado por implementar las principales propuestas de mejora
es de US$ 82’945,252, con una inversión de US$ 8’632,000
The purpose of this thesis seeks to accomplish the business operational diagnosis of Compañía Minera Poderosa SA in order to confront the recommendation of specialists in the management of productive operations regarding the real situation of the company, in order to determine opportunities for improvement that may increase Its profitability through maximizing its effectiveness and efficiency in the production of gold. The first chapters refer to the design and planning of operations, processes, plant and work, key axes to ensure that the product meets the quality specifications requested by the customer; The programming chapters of the operations, aggregate planning, cost management, logistics, maintenance, quality and supply chain have allowed us to know the opportunities for improvement that Poderosa has to increase the efficiency of its production process. Among the main proposals for improvement we have: (a) Implement a 300 TMD plant for artisanal miners, (b) relocation of the logistics warehouse and the fuel tap to the mine dumps, (c) train on linear programming to the superintendences and area headquarters. The projected saving for implementing the main improvement proposals is US$ 82’945,252 with an investment of US$ 8’632,000
