Abstract
datos PubMed, Elsevier, Google Scholar y Science Direct.
y tratamiento.

The present investigation is carried out by different indexed scientific contributions which provide us with valuable information on stuttering and bilingualism in children between 3 and 11 years of age. A qualitative descriptive review of the state of the art was carried out, searching for scientific articles in the PubMed database, Elsevier, Google Scholar and Science Direct. A total of 14 indexed scientific articles that met the inclusion criteria in this research were analyzed. The thematic axes under discussion in this research are the frequency and types of disfluencies in bilingual children who stutter, the identification of stuttering in bilingual children, treatment and its effects in bilingual children, and the relationship between bilingualism and stuttering. It is concluded that stuttering in bilingual children requires more research in terms of diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment.
