Resumen
El presente proyecto de innovación educativa considera el problema de las limitadas
competencias tecnológicas de los docentes en el uso de inteligencia artificial para
sus clases de la Facultad de Ciencias de una universidad pública en Lima, Perú. Su
objetivo general es fortalecer las competencias tecnológicas de los docentes de
Ciencias en el uso de la IA para su integración en las sesiones de clase de pregrado
en una universidad pública de Lima. Para alcanzar este objetivo, se trazan tres
objetivos específicos; el primero es desarrollar un programa de capacitación
pedagógica que favorezca las competencias tecnológicas sobre herramientas de la
IA dirigido a docentes de Ciencias; el segundo es diseñar guías prácticas sobre el
uso de la IA para promover: a) Información y alfabetización de datos b)
Comunicación y colaboración y c) Creación de contenido digital; el tercer objetivo
es crear recursos didácticos para el desarrollo de las sesiones de clase utilizando
diversas herramientas de IA en el programa de capacitación pedagógica.
También, es fundamental destacar la planificación y ejecución del piloto, en donde
se elaboró un cronograma que contempló coordinaciones con las autoridades hasta
su análisis. Asimismo, se tomó en cuenta revisar la literatura, difundir la inscripción
y ejecutar los talleres, diseñar instrumentos, aplicar la encuesta y evaluar los
resultados. Esto permitió que los docentes exploren diferentes herramientas de IA
para usarlas en sus clases y fortalecer sus competencias tecnológicas docentes al
crear diferentes materiales de acuerdo con los cursos que dictan y revisar guías
prácticas.
This educational innovation project addresses the issue of limited technological competencies among faculty members in the use of artificial intelligence for their classes in the Faculty of Sciences at a public university in Lima, Peru. Its general objective is to strengthen the technological competencies of Science faculty members in the use of AI for integration into undergraduate classroom sessions at a public university in Lima. To achieve this goal, three specific objectives have been established. The first is to develop a pedagogical training program that enhances technological competencies related to AI tools, aimed at Science faculty. The second is to design practical guides on the use of AI to promote: a) Information and data literacy, b) Communication and collaboration, and c) Digital content creation. The third objective is to create teaching resources for classroom sessions using various AI tools as part of the pedagogical training program. It is also essential to highlight the planning and implementation of the pilot, which included a schedule involving coordination with university authorities through to the final analysis. Additionally, literature review, promotion of registration, and execution of workshops were carried out, along with the design of instruments, survey application, and evaluation of results. This allowed faculty members to explore different AI tools to use in their classes and strengthen their technological teaching competencies by creating various materials according to the courses they teach and by reviewing practical guides.
