Abstract
La presente investigación comparó los niveles de calidad percibidos por las empresas
del sector operadores logísticos y almacenes en Lima y Callao, que poseen un sistema de
gestión de la calidad y las que no. Para este estudio se utilizó la herramienta de Factores de
éxito del TQM de Benzaquen (2013), desarrollado en el periodo de Octubre 2014 a Enero
2015. Esta investigación se basó en un enfoque cuantitativo, de alcance descriptivo,
explicativo y de carácter no experimental - transeccional.
Se aplicó a una muestra de 81 empresas debidamente respondidas de una población
delimitada de 206 empresas dispuestas a brindar información, de las cuales 33 cuentan con un
sistema de gestión de calidad. La hipótesis principal del presente estudio fue: “existen
diferencias significativas en el cumplimiento de los factores del TQM entre empresas del
sector operadores logísticos y almacenes de Lima y Callao, que cuentan con un SGC
comparado con aquellos que no cuentan con uno”.
El resultado del estudio concluyo que la hipótesis planteada fue verdadera, es decir
que si existió diferencia significativa en el cumplimiento de los nueve factores de calidad
entre las empresas del sector que poseen un sistema de gestión de calidad y las que no.
This research compared the perceived levels of quality by logistics operators and warehouses sector companies in Lima and Callao, that have a management system quality and those which do not have one. For this investigation is has been used Benzaquen´s study on Total Quality Management Success Factors (2013). This research was based on a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, explanatory and not experimental - transeccional. It was applied to a sample of 81 companies properly answered a defined population of 206 companies willing to provide information, of which 33 have a quality management system. The main hypothesis of this study was "there are significant differences in the implementation of TQM factors between companies in the logistics operators and warehouses sector companies in Lima and Callao, which have a QMS compared with those who do not have one." The result of the investigation concluded that the main hypothesis was true, that is if there are significant differences in the performance of nine quality factors between companies in the sector that have a management system quality and those which do not have one..
