Abstract
demanda y a domicilio.
Underemployment is a problem that affects women across the country. Within the service sector, the beauty sector is also part of the informality. Cosmetologists have a schedule that exceeds eight hours per day and low commission earnings. This problem is also relevant since it is framed within Sustainable Development Goals 5, Gender Equality and 8, Decent work and economic growth. In this context, user research was conducted and after using tools to design the service, the Peru Stylist mobile application was identified as a solution. This application allows to connect cosmetologists with clients who require beauty services on demand and at home. Users have access to personalized services. In addition, there is a rating and review system, a flexible calendar for both cosmetologists and users, and a rewards program for using the application. To validate the feasibility of marketing, the VTVC/CAC indicator was evaluated. Throughout the projection, the indicator has been greater than three, demonstrating high marketing efficiency. Likewise, the project is profitable given that the NPV of the project is 3.7 million soles, the social NPV is 4.7 million soles. Monte Carlo simulation was used to validate both marketing feasibility and financial viability. In terms of social relevance, our project has an average impact of 70% on the goals of SDGs 5 and 8. Similarly, in terms of social profitability indicators, the application will reduce waiting times for clients by an average of two hours and will provide cosmetologists with an additional 10% income.
