Resumen
Los juegos didácticos en la enseñanza de matemáticas en secundaria es una
práctica docente que aborda la necesidad de innovar en los métodos de enseñanza
tradicionales. Asimismo, abordarlos a partir de las percepciones de los docentes
contribuye a tener una mayor comprensión respecto a la forma en que funcionan.
En ese sentido, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las
percepciones docentes sobre el uso de juegos didácticos como recurso para la
enseñanza de matemáticas en secundaria. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una
investigación de enfoque cualitativo de tipo básico. La información fue recogida a
través de entrevistas semiestructuradas a docentes que han implementado juegos
didácticos en sus clases y analizada por medio de la técnica de análisis temático.
Los hallazgos obtenidos apuntan a la gran importancia que adquieren los juegos
didácticos al promover un aprendizaje significativo, mejorar la motivación y
desarrollar habilidades sociales en los estudiantes. Sin embargo, también se
identifican desafíos como la resistencia al cambio por parte de algunos docentes y
la falta de recursos adecuados para su implementación efectiva. Estos retos
señalan la importancia de invertir en capacitación docente y recursos educativos
que permitan utilizar eficientemente los juegos didácticos en el aprendizaje
matemático.
Educational games in the teaching of mathematics in secondary education are a teaching practice that addresses the need to innovate traditional teaching methods. Additionally, examining them from the perspective of teachers contributes to a deeper understanding of how they function. In this sense, the present research aims to analyze teachers' perceptions about the use of educational games as a resource for teaching mathematics in secondary education. The findings highlight the significant importance of educational games in promoting meaningful learning, improving motivation, and developing social skills in students. However, challenges such as resistance to change from some teachers and the lack of adequate resources for effective implementation are also identified. These challenges underscore the importance of investing in teacher training and educational resources to efficiently utilize educational games in mathematical learning.
