Resumen
El “World Inequality Report 2022” coloca al Perú como el cuarto país más
desigual del mundo. Una dura realidad que se nota en la enorme brecha social
que existe, por ejemplo, en la educación. El Estado no ha logrado reducir
significativamente aquel mal social y es ahí donde intervienen algunos actores
para ofrecer una vida más digna y de calidad a niños y adolescentes.
La tesis “Análisis de un proceso de constitución e intervención de un actor social.
Caso: La Operación Mato Grosso y el trabajo de sus voluntarios italianos y
peruanos para la ejecución de proyectos educativos en el distrito de Nuevo
Chimbote - Áncash”, tiene como objetivo central “Analizar el proceso de
constitución de la Operación Mato Grosso e identificar los factores que le han
permitido tener éxito en proyectos educativos con el trabajo de voluntarios
italianos y peruanos”. Durante el trabajo de investigación se utilizó una serie de
herramientas y técnicas como entrevistas abiertas y semiestructuradas, revisión
documental y las historias de vida que son el soporte principal del presente
documento. El trabajo de campo generó 3 hallazgos:
Convicción de los voluntarios para entregar su vida al servicio de los más
pobres.
La confianza entre los voluntarios y la capacidad organizativa de la
Operación Mato Grosso han permitido el éxito de la institución.
El proyecto pone énfasis en una educación que forme mejores
ciudadanos.
Todo eso bajo la metodología cualitativa que pretendió entender cómo es que la
OMG tiene éxito en su afán de brindar educación con una fuerte carga moral.
La Gerencia Social investiga y analiza los procesos y resultados de distintos
actores sociales con iniciativas para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas
y de ahí la idea de tomar el caso de los voluntarios de la Operación Mato Grosso.
The “World Inequality Report 2022” places Peru as the fourth most unequal country in the world. A harsh reality that is noticeable in the enormous social gap that exists, for example, in education. The State has not managed to significantly reduce this social evil and that is where some actors intervene to offer a more dignified and quality life to children and adolescents. The thesis “Analysis of a process of constitution and intervention of a social actor. Case: Operation Mato Grosso and the work of its Italian and Peruvian volunteers for the execution of educational projects in the district of Nuevo Chimbote – Áncash”, has as its central objective "Analyze the process of constitution of Operation Mato Grosso and identify the factors that have allowed it to have success in educational projects with the work of Italian and Peruvian volunteers.” During the research work, a series of tools and techniques were used, such as open and semi-structured interviews, documentary review and life stories, which are the main support of this document. The field work generated 3 findings: • Conviction of volunteers to give their lives to the service of the poorest. • The trust between the volunteers and the organizational capacity of Operation Mato Grosso have allowed the success of the institution. • The project emphasizes education that creates better citizens. All this under the qualitative methodology that sought to understand how the OMG is successful in its desire to provide education with a strong moral charge. The Social Management investigates and analyzes the processes and results of different social actors with initiatives to improve the quality of life of people and hence the idea of taking the case of the volunteers of Operation Mato Grosso.
