Abstract
En el sector educativo el flujo continuo de docentes genera inestabilidad en el sistema,
por lo que el presente estudio tiene como propósito identificar las principales causas de la
rotación laboral en el sector de Educación Básica Regular privada de la provincia de
Arequipa. La presente investigación se realizó utilizando el enfoque cualitativo, es
descriptiva y transeccional, realizándose la recolección de datos durante el segundo semestre
del 2015. La población estuvo definida por los docentes que laboran en el sector de
Educación Básica Regular privada de la provincia de Arequipa, y se aplicó la entrevista a una
muestra de 29 docentes de los niveles de inicial, primaria y secundaria del distrito de Cerro
Colorado.
Los factores de índole externo que repercutieron en la rotación laboral fueron: (a)
política y administración del Centro Educativo, (b) supervisión, (c) relaciones
interpersonales, (d) condiciones de trabajo, (e) salario, (f) status, (g) seguridad, y (h) otros
factores externos. Los factores de índole interno considerados en el análisis fueron: (a) logro,
(b) reconocimiento del logro, (c) trabajo en sí, (d) responsabilidad, (e) crecimiento o avance,
y (f) otros factores intrínsecos han repercutido en la rotación laboral. La investigación
concluye que las principales causas de la rotación laboral en el sector de Educación Básica
Regular Privada de la provincia de Arequipa giran en torno a las condiciones de trabajo,
salario y búsqueda de avance profesional.
At the education sector, the flow of teachers generates instability at the system; that is why the purpose of this study is to identify the main causes of employee turnover at private Regular Basic Education at Arequipa region. This research was done using a qualitative approach; it is descriptive and transactional, with data collection during the second semester of 2015. Population was defined by teachers that work at the private Regular Basic Education at Arequipa region. The interview was applied to 29 Kinder, Elementary and High School level teachers of Cerro Colorado district. External nature factors that have had an impact on employee turnover were: (a) Education Center policies and management, (b) supervision, (c) interpersonal relations, (d) work conditions, (e) salary, (f) status, (g) security, and (h) other external factors. The internal nature factors considered on the analysis were: (a) achievement, (b) recognition, (c) the job itself, (d) responsibility, (e) growing or advance, and (f) other intrinsically factors have had an impact on employee turnover. The research concludes that main causes for the employee turnover at Private Regular Basic Education at Arequipa region are due to work conditions, salary and searching a professional upgrade.
