Abstract
fin de prevenir enfermedades zoonóticas (ver Apéndice H, I y J).
The innovative business model of Runa Health emerges as a response to the challenges of SDG 3 - Health and Well-being, aimed at addressing a significant issue not only in Lima but across the entire country. The main purpose is to provide medical care to the most vulnerable community members and animals, controlling overpopulation and preventing transmissible diseases caused by zoonoses. The proposed viable solution focuses on implementing a mobile medical unit in the AA.HH. Unión Santa Cruz in Villa Maria del Triunfo. This unit will feature specialist doctors in general medicine, dentistry, gynecology, among other branches, to address the medical needs of the residents. Additionally, veterinarians will be responsible for caring for the community's animals, deworming, sterilizing, vaccinating them, among other actions, aiming to prevent zoonotic diseases (Appendix H, I and J). The validation of hypotheses is based on two identified users: beneficiaries, who will receive free medical care, and potential clients, foreign medical and veterinary students. These students, who need to fulfill volunteer requirements, would be willing to pay for services that include internships in various medical areas. This income stream from the students would ensure the financial viability of the project and be essential to cover operational costs. Runa Health's social impact is twofold: it improves the quality of life for residents in underserved areas and offers a valuable opportunity for learning and service for university students committed to social service.
