Modelo ProLab: “Flowy, el ecosistema colaborativo para el aprendizaje de finanzas personales”

Abstract
Este estudio identifica la baja alfabetización financiera entre jóvenes en Lima Metropolitana,
agravada por una economía en desaceleración e inflación creciente. Las estadísticas muestran
una preocupante falta de conocimiento en manejo de finanzas personales, resultando en
decisiones financieras riesgosas, incluyendo préstamos informales con altas tasas. La
aplicación “Flowy” se creó empleando Design Thinking, enfocándose en el usuario para
desarrollar iterativamente un PMV. Este diseño incorpora el establecimiento de objetivos
S.M.A.R.T, asesoramiento experto y gamificación, fomentando un aprendizaje interactivo y
práctico.
La validación del modelo de negocio se llevó a cabo analizando 31 hipótesis clave, usando
experimentos y encuestas para probar la efectividad del PMV. Resultados mostraron que un
83% de usuarios estaban interesados en la mentoría financiera, con evaluaciones positivas en
eficiencia y satisfacción del usuario. Además, el modelo de negocio demuestra una sólida
viabilidad financiera, con un VAN de 774,246.06 USD un TIR de 78.00% y un WACC de
13.01%. Estos indicadores financieros positivos reflejan no solo la rentabilidad del proyecto,
sino también su sostenibilidad a largo plazo.
El modelo de “Flowy” demuestra viabilidad al generar un impacto social alineado con los
ODS, mejorando la educación financiera (ODS 4), fomentando el crecimiento económico
inclusivo (ODS 8), reduciendo desigualdades (ODS 10) y apoyando el consumo responsable
(ODS 12). Su VAN Social de S/ 4’752,720.00 resalta los beneficios económicos y sociales de
optar por financiamiento formal sobre créditos informales.
“Flowy” se presenta como una solución innovadora y efectiva para la educación financiera de
jóvenes en Lima, potenciando habilidades y decisiones económicas informadas. Su modelo
de negocio sostenible y su enfoque disruptivo en la educación financiera digital justifican su
implementación y expansión, destacando su impacto significativo en la sociedad.
This study identifies low financial literacy among young people in Metropolitan Lima, aggravated by a slowing economy and rising inflation. Statistics show a worrying lack of knowledge in managing personal finances, resulting in risky financial decisions, including informal loans with high rates. The “Flowy” app was created using Design Thinking, focusing on the user to develop a PMV iteratively. This design incorporates S.M.A.R.T goal setting, expert coaching and gamification, encouraging interactive and hands-on learning. Business model validation was carried out by analyzing 31 key hypotheses, using experiments and surveys to test the effectiveness of the PMV. Results showed that 83% of users were interested in financial mentoring, with positive evaluations of efficiency and user satisfaction. Furthermore, the business model demonstrates solid financial viability, with an NPV of 774,246.06 USD an IRR of 78.00% and a WACC of 13.01%. These positive financial indicators reflect not only the profitability of the project but also its long-term sustainability. The “Flowy” model demonstrates viability by generating social impact aligned with the SDGs, improving financial education (SDG 4), promoting inclusive economic growth (SDG 8), reducing inequalities (SDG 10) and supporting responsible consumption (SDG 12). Its Social NPV of S/ 4’752,720.00 highlights the economic and social benefits of opting for formal financing over informal credits. “Flowy” is presented as an innovative and effective solution for the financial education of young people in Lima, enhancing skills and informed economic decisions.
