This study analyzes the strategic migration model of business services to a Tier III Data Center in the Peruvian financial sector, highlighting its relevance to digital transformation, information security, and operational continuity. The scope of the study is defined within the framework of technological operations in the financial sector, considering energy efficiency, fault resilience, and sustainability as strategic pillars. Furthermore, the research justifies its importance based on the economic and social impact of modernizing technological infrastructure in a context where the digitalization of the financial system is essential for the country’s competitiveness. The environmental analysis includes the study of global technological trends, competition in critical infrastructure services, and the opportunities present in the Peruvian market in terms of innovation and sustainability. Through a methodological approach combining expert interviews, documentary review, and SWOT analysis, strengths such as the technical capacity of personnel, opportunities related to digital demand, and challenges associated with investment and regulation were identified. The fieldwork results reveal an increasing need for risk management policies, operational standardization, and energy sustainability strategies to maintain Tier III certification and ensure business continuity. Among the main lessons learned, the importance of digital governance, the adoption of Lean IT practices, and the continuous training of human capital stand out. Likewise, the recommendations aim to strengthen technological infrastructure planning, optimize operational resources, and consolidate a sustainable and scalable management model. This analysis not only contributes to academic development in digital transformation topics but also provides practical implications for strengthening the national financial and technological ecosystem.
