A pesar
This work examines the current situation of DELCO SRL, a company dedicated to the marketing of vehicle spare parts, and highlights its poor inventory management as one of the main obstacles to its growth and operational efficiency. Despite having two product lines—the heavy line, which includes trucks and buses from European brands, and the light line, consisting of engine parts and components for minivans and SUVs from Chinese manufacturers—the lack of effective inventory control has led to availability issues and operational overcosts. Through the implementation of strategic solutions such as the S&OP model, warehouse redesign, and the integration of an ERP system, the aim is to optimize supply chain management and improve inventory handling efficiency. Preliminary results indicate that these actions could not only resolve current inventory problems but also strengthen customer relationships and enhance the company's competitiveness in the market. The research underscores the need to adopt more efficient inventory management practices to ensure sustainable long-term performance.
