impacto financiero y social positivo.
Child malnutrition in the province of Calca, Cusco, is a significant social issue affecting children under five, compromising their physical and cognitive development. The proposed solution is the creation of a highly nutritious and affordable food product aimed at this vulnerable population. This product, named "Pacha Nutritive Creams," is made with quinoa and dehydrated vegetables, offering a balanced combination of essential nutrients and vitamins for children's growth and development, thus addressing the nutritional deficiencies that lead to malnutrition. Implementing this project would have a significant financial and social impact. Its financial viability is supported by a thorough analysis of financial projections, estimating an initial investment of US$ 92,054.53 for product development, facilities, machinery, and marketing. Five-year projections indicate positive cash flow, with an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 386% and a Net Present Value (NPV) of US$ 1'133,918, confirming its capacity to generate substantial returns. On the social side, the benefits are considerable, as it reduces costs associated with medical care due to malnutrition and positively impacts farmers' incomes, achieving a social NPV of US$3'659,668.43, demonstrating that this business model is beneficial and advantageous for society. Thus, the creation of a nutritious and accessible food product can be an effective strategy to combat child malnutrition in the province of Calca and nationally, ensuring a positive financial and social impact.
