Abstract
La presente tesis desarrolla un Diagnóstico Operativo Empresarial a la empresa
Transermisa S.A., la cual desarrolla sus operaciones productivas en el sector minero
brindando servicio de transporte de materiales, productos de la explotación en yacimiento
ubicados en el interior del Perú. El objetivo del presente trabajo busca identificar
oportunidades de mejora en la gestión de operaciones que desarrolla la empresa,
oportunidades que le permitan posicionarse en el mercado a través del logro de ventajas
competitivas, aplicando para ello los diversos conocimiento adquiridos durante la Maestría en
Dirección de Operaciones Productivas y teniendo como soporte una recopilación de
conceptos y herramientas de diversos autores descrita en el marco teórico.
El desarrollo parte con una introducción sobre la gestión operativa de la empresa, su
clasificación según el producto que desarrolla y la relevancia de la operación, el desarrollo de
la tesis se basa en la estructura del marco teórico, cada capítulo describe la realidad de la
empresa, a partir de ello se realizan análisis en base a los autores citados, con el objetivo de
identificar las oportunidades de mejora y las ventajas competitivas que pueda obtener la
empresa si mejorará o cambiará su actual forma de llevar a cabo sus operaciones. Se ha
revisado la ubicación y dimensionamiento de planta, el planeamiento y diseño del producto,
del proceso, de la planta, del trabajo, así como el planeamiento agregado, la programación de
sus operaciones, la gestión de costos, de logística, de control de calidad, de mantenimiento y
la gestión de cadena de suministro. Se identificaron diversas oportunidades de mejoras las
cuales se enfocan en la reducción de restricciones en el proceso, reducción de tiempos
muertos en mano de obra así como parada de maquinarias, por otra parte se identificó la
necesidad de establecer sistemas de gestión que integren sus procesos, así como, el empleo de
herramientas tecnológicas y herramientas para toma de decisiones, con dichas propuesta se
realizaría una inversión de S/ 179,493 y se lograría un ahorro anual de S/ 724,821
This thesis develops an Operative Business Diagnosis to the company Transermisa S.A., which develops its productive operations in the mining sector by providing material transportation services, mining products located in the interior of Peru. The objective of this work is to identify opportunities for improvement in the operations management that the company develops, opportunities that allow it to position itself in the market through the achievement of competitive advantages, applying for it the different knowledge acquired during the Master in Operations Management Productive and having as support a compilation of concepts and tools of various authors described in the theoretical framework. The development starts with an introduction on the operational management of the company, its classification according to the product it develops and the relevance of the operation, the development of the thesis is based on the structure of the theoretical framework, each chapter describes the reality of the company. Based on this analysis and based on the aforementioned authors, with the objective of identifying the opportunities for improvement and the competitive advantages that the company can obtain if it will improve or change its current way of carrying out its operations. It has been revised location and sizing of the plant, planning and design of the product, process design, plant design, working design, as well as added planning, scheduling of its operations, cost management, logistics management, quality control management, maintenance management and supply chain management. Improvements were identified in the reviews, which focused on reducing process restrictions, reducing downtime on machinery and stopping machinery. On the other hand, the need to establish management systems that integrate their processes, as well as the use of technological tools and tools for decision making, with these proposals would be performed an investment of S/ 179,493 and would achieve an annual saving of S/ 724,821
