Abstract
The main objective of this research is to propose a model of certification of gender equity in private companies in Peru, which will serve as a tool to incorporate gender equity in the labor market so that men and women can achieve the full development of their capabilities. This study is based on the premise that there is a clear gender inequality in Peruvian private companies, which has created gaps in the labor market between men and women that must be reduced in favor of equity. Therefore, this research consulted the available literature on the different models of certification of gender equity in private companies, gender equity in Peru and gender equity gaps in private companies in Peru, and presents, through a map of the literature, its adequate integration, which served as a guide for the analysis and subsequent creation of the model of certification of gender equity that is presented. In this sense, it was observed the dimensions, stages and requirements that private companies in Peru must manage in order to obtain a certification or seal of gender equity with a continuous improvement approach. As a final result of the present investigation, the model proposal integrating the stages and requirements applicable to a gender equity management system was obtained. It also raises the procedure that private companies must follow to obtain certification and what should be the steps to follow to achieve it
