Abstract
sociedad peruana (ODS 10).
Today more than before the existence of different gender identities such as transsexuals, transvestites, transgender, intersex, and sexual orientation such as lesbians, gays, bisexuals, who come together in a community called LGBTIQ +. According to IPSOS (2019), approximately 8%, an estimated 1.7 million of adult people from Perú, identify themselves as part of the LGBTIQ+ community. However, it's one of the most discriminated groups, even above HIV and indigenous people (IPSOS, 2019). These circumstances have been experienced in health services as well (INEI, 2018a). The problem worsens by taking in consideration that only 75.5% of the population are affiliated with some health insurance and 68.2% correspond to public health services (INEI, 2018b), whose quality and attention are far from the recommended standards (Soto, 2019). For this reason, our value proposition to face this problem is the implementation of a health center for specialized care of the LGBTIQ+ community, called “Diversalud”. The health center provides a quality service based on patient care of the LGBTIQ+ community with humane and empathetic treatment by all the collaborators of the care center. The Diversalud project is not only a viable and financially sustainable solution with a VAN of S/. 3,240,316 in a five-year period, but it's also socially sustainable with a social VAN of S/. 2,124,637 contributing to society by improving health and well being indicators for all (ODS 3) and reducing inequality in Peruvian society (ODS 10).
